SINGAPORE: PART ONE

This is my first time to go on an overseas vacation with my family. It was such a surreal experience for me because I WAS IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY FOR FOUR DAYS! It was so different and weird. The moment I stepped out of the plane I couldn't stop myself from feeling all foreign and peculiar to my surroundings. I was in Singapore! I was in a different country! A simple paragraph about my feelings of being in a different country wouldn't even suffice.

This is the very first photo I took from the trip. I guess it's the pastries that got my attention. I was famished. But my dad decided not to buy food from the airport because it's expensive. (In which I will later on realize that everything is expensive in Singapore. I can hear little children crying about this).

We rode a taxi to our hotel. Taxis in Singapore are SO different from the taxis in the Philippines. I wish I took a picture but I was too keen on observing the taxi. There were these little screens facing the driver; I guess they were used for the receipt. And yes it's a right-hand driven vehicle. This is also my first time on a right-hand driven car. Singapore gave me a lot of firsts to experience.

We had this chicken rice lunch from the nearby food stop (in our case, a carinderia) and IT. WAS. SO. GOOD. It's a $3.00-match-made-in-heaven meal. Our hotel was around Geylang Road so we had to do a lot of walking to get to the train station.

Their train stations are so clean!!! And the people are very disciplined and they comply with the station rules. (SLY DIGGING PEOPLE FROM OUR COUNTRY!!!)

Look at this. This makes me sad. Why can't our country achieve this.

This is the card used to "pay" for your fare. It's cool because it's very handy and all you have to do is scan it then boom you're paid, you're ready to go. AND LOOK AT THE TRAIN. It's so cold inside and the people take the Reserved Seating so seriously, they won't even sit on it even if the train is full and the only seat available is the Reserved Seat for pregnant mothers, the handicapped and such. SO NICE.

And finally after a long train and bus trip we arrived at the Singapore Zoo! This is the cleanest zoo I've ever seen. And it doesn't smell like animal piss so it's a plus hehehe.

THIS REMINDED ME SO MUCH OF DAENERYS I DON'T KNOW WHY???

This creature is so big in real life you wouldn't even think it's real.

WE ENTERED THIS BIG PANDA DOME!!! Hello to one of my best friends Lara Ackermann. This is for you. This is a red panda. IT'S CUTER IN REAL LIFE BECAUSE HE'S JUST THERE ON THE BRANCH DOING LITTLE MOVES LIKE A BABY AND PEEKING.

 Pandas are REAL MAGIC.
Such an innocent creature ;__; I wish I could take him home with me. Too bad I can only have him on a post card now. SAD.

LOOK AT THIS POLAR BEAR SWIMMING.

On our way to the River Safari! This is a very long bridge...

I think this is the only decent photo I took from the safari. Damn.

This is the souvenir store! Everything in here is so beautiful. Also everything in here costs money. I saw this very pretty whale that glows in the dark and changes its color. It was so pretty and I loved it very much but it's so expensive. SAD.

 A.K.A. THE NIGHT'S WATCH. A.K.A. JON SNOW

The nigh safari was great. I saw the wild animals up close and I felt like Steven Irwin, haha. The day ended pretty well because I had Ben & Jerry's for the first time wee.
