MAYNILA

We had our Field Trip yesterday. The destinations were disappointing because we've already been there three years ago. Heads up to the organizer of this trip hi there how are you doing? Anyway, we went to Mowell Fund. We've never been there, alright. This place is blessed because it contains most of the Philippine film history: from blacks & whites to sepia and the marriage of politics and film. I don't even have the right words to describe my adulation for old movie posters. They're kitschy and I love the browning smell of paper. I think that's it.

We first entered this room full of FPJ memorabilia and history. I kind of regret rejecting those invitations from my dad to watch his movies on TV. I've seen a few but now I want to see more wow.

And here we have photos from the museum.

old newspaper clippings. cool.

THIS IS FROM THE HORROR PART OF THE MUSEUM!!!! I LOST MY PHOTOS OF THOSE MONSTERS FROM THIS ROOM I'M CRYING. Those props were A+ because they looked so real and scary woah.

I don't know how this happened but if you really look at it..... it's as if Neil and Vincent are one with the ladies because the first time I saw it I can't see their faces.....lol

She wasn't the only beautiful woman in the wall. There were numbers of them in this pink wall and I think my self-esteem went down to -4568344879. From Gloria Romero to Gina Pareño and all those actresses like Pilar Pilapil and Helen Gamboa. I don't know but beauty back then seems bigger and more pure than the way it is now...

They have a room for documentaries about the Philippine politics!!!

This pool is so deep I can't even comprehend the amount of water needed to fill this up. It may not look deep in this picture but in real life it's nakakalula (conyo alert bye). I never really got the story behind this pool but I caught up when our instructor was talking about Erap and FPJ being bros for life and how FPJ was always on Erap's side through thick and thin. It's not relevant to the pool and I'm laughing right now.

I MISSED TAKING PHOTOS OF MY SHOES!!! IF YOU FOLLOW MY POSTS I THINK YOU'LL GET IT BUT IF YOU DON'T THEN OKAY.... WHEN I GO PLACES I ALWAYS TAKE A PHOTO OF THESE SHOES WHEN I HAVE THE CHANCE
It's like letting someone grope your butt and the bottom line is you are enjoying it. Funny how it's made of stone yet it's so comfortable.

Anyway I can't help but feel bad because only a few people know a thing or two about the Philippine film industry. OLD FILIPINO MOVIES ARE GREAT! Some of them might bore you (even me) to death but if you find yourself watching a 70s comedy in PBO or an indie piece in Cinema One, try to watch it because you never know... Filipino filmmakers are one of the bests out there and I think they're not given enough attention...? Filipino movies nowadays are cringe- and facepalm-worthy and lacks substance (don't you dare deny it) but the indies never disappoint. Art is the reason behind these Filipino indie films and definitely goes beyond the valley of money and overly photoshopped faces of actors. And I'm very sorry because this post is about our field trip not my opinion so...

...We went to Fort Santiago to have lunch. This is where my extreme hate begins. I took good photos, alright. They're lovely, to be honest. BUT WE'VE BEEN HERE ALREADY AND IT REALLY HURTS MY WHOLE BEING. I wanted to spend time with my classmates doing ~classmate things~ (just like what the PhySci sections did). But I had McDo for lunch and I guess that's enough?

It's been too long since I've seen something like this omg. The view was very lovely (╹◡╹ლ)
 so beautiful hhhhh (*・ω・)

and of course a photo of the sky and tree branches and again, if you follow my posts i think you'll understand the fact that i am a big fan of trees and

FAVORITE SHOT HANDS DOWN. For me, before you explore Europe, go to Manila first and meet new people. Never forget that we have these kinds of structures waiting for us. At first look this photo looks like it's taken from Paris or Windsor but NOPE. You should definitely try going here because it's a very peaceful place, and oh my god, OH MY GOD, the leaves are always falling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I really love it when the leaves fall (˘˘) (Hi to my friend Sam).

The idea of roaming around Manila is very exciting...

The destinations may not be the best, yes, but spending the whole day with them was. I had a great time with them and I can't believe this is my last Field Trip. I can't believe we're parting ways in less than a month. I never thought I'd grow fond of them. We may have a lot of differences but they're the best section I had, next to the one I had 2 years ago. And I'm going to stop now because this sounds lame bye.
