Merry (a bit too late) Christmas!

My dad and I spent our Christmas with my aunt in Pasig along with their friends. Christmas for me was kind of boring, I don't know why. Last year's Christmas was kind of fun but this year's was...okay. I think New Year will be fun since the whole family's gonna be here for the reunion! Anyway here are some of the things we did on Christmas day:

Christmas dinner harhar

After dinner, I stayed inside the room and talked to my friends, wishing them a Merry Christmas. I really didn't have anything left to do so I spent the night reading. The visitors left so I decided to play 2k12 with Kuya JC instead mehehe. Of course he won but it was a fluke win. JOKE HAHAHA. It was actually my first time to play the game since whenever I have the time to play, it's either they're using the PS3, or they're busy (meaning, they can't let me borrow), or Kuya JC is playing with his friends or his friends are using the PS3. You can never win. So I end up just sitting there in a corner and watch them play silently. No, I am not bitter.

The next morning, we headed out to Rockwell to have lunch and watch a movie. We were basically torn between 34768932 restaurants because we can't choose. We then opted to have lunch at Sumosam. I am now in love with their food. Everything was good and tasty huhu. It was very delicious I almost cried joke.

 Assorted sushi hohoho
Osuyaki rolls~~~ This is my favorite of all I wanna marry it

After an eventful lunch, we decided to buy tickets for Sisterakas but the tickets were all sold out aww. I went to Fully Booked, anyways weeeee. I saw a lot of books from my "to-read" list and God, was I disappointed. I wanted to buy those books but I don't have enough money so I stared at them for a long time and told myself to get a grip. I hate talking about the lack of money. I really hate it.

So by afternoon, my dad and I watched this mini concert. The choir was really good, it  gave me goosebumps. Really. They serenaded the crowd with a lovely Christmas ensemble  and I  missed being a part of a church choir. Right after the mini concert, my dad and I  heard mass at the chapel in fourth floor. There were a lot of people in the entrance so we decided to just stand outside. We weren't able to finish the mass because my dad was dead tired so we decided to sit down in Cibo.

My dad ordered this VERY strong espresso. I gave it a try and EW. It was so bitter and it was so strong I almost puked huhu.
And then my dad got me this. ALLELUIA. After 2743298473 years of begging him to buy me a copy. He said he doesn't like the book because it had "no substance and story". But he bought it anyway, as a gift. Yay for me, then.

~The~ Candy

If someone gave you a Made In Candy brand of candy, appreciate it. Because I just found out that the designs between the candies are made manually. Yes, they do this magic using their hands. They roll the big chunk of candy and they pull it to make it thinner. And when they cut it into small bite pieces, you can see the design in the middle! It looks so cool and fascinating at the same time because it's hand-made. Cool beans.

Rockwell never looked so pretty.  This may not be the best Christmas for me but I had fun with my dad. Can't wait for new year, though!

Happy Holidays!

Christmas Wishlist 2012

Since it's almost Christmas and I have nothing to do except spend the night reading and waiting for the baked mac to be cooked, I'm gonna leave this here for kind people who would hesitate on buying me a gift.

Nikon D90 (or any DSLR) - I've been wanting to have one since the day we sold our D60. Any brand or model will do. I still have a camera, though. It's a Sony point and shoot and it has been with me for...years. It used to be my mom's/dad's but they decided to hand it down to me. Point and shoot cameras are very user friendly gadgets but having a DSLR is still better and practical since you can learn by just experimenting and taking random shots. This is quite pricey huhu.
Books - self-explanatory. Also just so you know the number of books I have to finish is very overwhelming it scares me.

Typewriter - We actually have one! My grandpa used to own one and my aunt just told me that I can have it! I guess this shouldn't be on my wishlist anymore, but I'm sooo happy to hear the good news. And excited to try it. When I was younger I used to play with it in our Space Pure (our water station) and pretend that I was my grandpa's secretary. I would type "sadgjsagdjsgfjds" HAHAHA. I haven't seen for a very long time and now I can't wait to get home and have it. I hope it's not broken, though!

Rucksack - I once joined a Rucksack giveaway contest but I didn't win aww. This looks cute and I would love to have one of my own so I could feel like a legit outdoor adventurer with all my camping essentials--but of course that's not going to happen because 1) I'll probably use this as a school bag and 2) the number one reason. But if life decided to  be more outgoing I'll use this said rucksack. Wow what did I say.

Harry Potter bracelet (any kind) - I can't find one on any store, which is sad. I always dream about having owning one. So whenever I write down something, I would see it on my wrist and and get all giddy and gooey inside and then I would remember the very first time I read the Sorcerer's Stone. Harry Potter never gets old.

Watercolor Set - I'm running out of watercolor huhu. And no, not the Reeves and Sons watercolor set (first picture) because I know I won't be able to get one here in the Philippines and shipping fees are too pricey. I hope you get me. But anyway, yes I'm running out of watercolor and that's really sad. This only cost a couple of bucks so I think you'd be able to get me one hehehe.

Acrylic Paint - I'm running out of Acrylic Paint, too. Life is so sad. My old set of acrylics are yelling with pain since I've been pushing them too hard beyond their limits, a.k.a. squeezing the tubes so hard they're choking. They're begging me to replace them even though it's hard for them to accept the pain and grief. Kidding. PLEASE I NEED 24 COLORS OR MORE PLEASE HUHUHUHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

Paintbrush - Don't get me wrong, I still have paintbrushes at home but they're slowly giving up on me huhu. The hairs are falling off due to a 8364783-year hardcore stroking on rough/smooth surfaces. In short, they need to be replaced. They've been with me since I was in third or fourth grade. I need new sets.

That is all for now. I know it's way too late for this since it's almost Christmas but you know what they say, better late than never haha. I hope you're having a grand time with your family and friends this Christmas! Merry Christmas, God bless!

(I really do hope that someone out there appreciates this).

December 18

The very first highlight of my day was when I impersonated Sadie Saxton of the TV series Awkward. Chua (her name is Nina, but I can't seem to call her by her first name huhu) was in section 13's classroom a.k.a. Sam & Kate's classroom so I spent a little bit of my time with them. We gave our gifts to each other and voila, I was Sadie the next second. YOU ARE WELCOME.

Anyway, after an eventful trip to their classroom I headed straight to my room and handed out the "special" Christmas cards to my classmates. Chosen classmates. I can be mean sometimes, hehehe. I spent the entire day lurking around the campus since I got bored. Luckily, my "special" Christmas cards were printed last night! I was a businesswoman for a while since I kept on walking and running and skipping my way through a sea of people just so I could give the "special" Christmas cards to my friends.

(Forgive me for not having photos of the "special" cards for I haven't got a decent camera with me.)

I promised Julia and Sam that I would produce a ~real~ mix for them. Obligatory "no one appreciates them anymore" comment. Well you still have Julia and Sam, though! Haha. The mixtapes include songs from Two Door Cinema Club, Vampire Weekend, and of course, THE NAKED & FAMOUS! Why would I miss my favorite band, right? I almost added a David Bowie song for Julia's but I came to realize that Julia knows enough about the Bowie religion ehehehe. What an assumption.

Sam's mix contain a lot of dance-y songs since that female specimen loves to move around and shake her bon-bons. I decided to take it to another "vibe" and level. I hope she's dancing right now, if ever.

Well this is how my day went. I'd tell you more but I can't since I don't have that much photos with me; they're all in Sam and Kate's cameras. I was a loser for a day because I have no camera with me. Hoping to receive the photos from Sam (and Kate)!

(Also because I can't wait to tell you the wonders of this very, very, very glorious day with my friends. Also because FULLY BOOKED (ATC BRANCH) IS ON THE RISE AND I CAN'T HELP BUT GET THIS FEELING OF EXCITEMENT, JOY AND GLORY INSIDE ME!!!)

I'm listening to Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto. I can't believe they're in a hiatus huhu.
